A short backstory that was easy to follow about the owner of Blush Skin & Beauty.

About the Project
I led a freelancing project for a woman-owned beauty company based in Lansing. My client was looking for a simple yet effective website that would function both as a portfolio and a booking platform for customers.
Over a two-month process, we stayed in close communication to ensure the design met the client’s needs and adhered to accessibility standards. For testing, I conducted a comparative analysis to gather insights on what similar brands offered and identify essential features. I then implemented A/B testing on initial designs to refine the aesthetic and functionality, followed by usability testing with external users to assess the site’s overall intuitiveness and effectiveness.

Working with Blush Skin and Beauty taught me the importance of clear communication and adaptability when collaborating directly with clients to meet their vision. I honed my skills in UX Design by balancing design, development, and accessibility within tight timelines, ensuring the website served both functional and aesthetic goals. This experience reinforced my ability to manage end-to-end projects, prioritize user needs, and deliver solutions that align with a brand's identity.
The website was designed using Square.
